The Karuna System was developed by Master William Lee Rand through symbols brought by various Reiki Masters. Master William put together and used the symbols he felt had the greatest resonance and was guided to develop an attunement process, giving it the name Karuna. Karuna is taught in three levels, 2 practitioner levels and 1 Master level.

This system deepens the Reiki of the traditional system, it is excellent in the process and work of inner reform, because it intensifies all work of releasing trauma, forgiveness and activating compassion.

At level 1 of Karuna, we receive the opening for the development of Karuna (Compassionate Action) within us, opening a path into the love of the Universe, which fills and involves all the cells of our Being.

In Karuna level 2, we will understand that: "the more love I have inside me, the more love I have for others", opening a path of understanding with the external, the other, the social, the collective mind and humanity.
Working with Karuna takes us on a path of transformation and enlightenment in search of the truth about suffering and the eternal cycle of rebirth and death.

This system complements traditional Reiki with 8 new symbols, making the practice of Reiki even more effective and results can be achieved more easily. This system also helps to harmonize relationships, promotes rooting for people who feel insecure, who have difficulty concentrating, and its symbols help in dealing with physical and emotional problems.

Karuna means compassionate action. Compassion, not with a sense of pity, but in the purest fraternal love.
